Timothy Sample

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Timothy Michael Sample age 51 of Hickory. Sample was arrested on Alexander County warrants at a hotel on Monday morning, February 23, 2015 by officers with the Nashville Police Department in Nashville, Tennessee. Samples was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in Nashville, TN pending extradition proceedings. Timothy Michael Sample was identified by investigators over the weekend as the primary suspect in a Bank Robbery that occurred at the Taylorsville Savings Bank in Bethlehem on Friday February 20, 2015. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is in the process of filing extradition paperwork, as well as investigating the incident further.
