On Tuesday, 07/21/2015, Investigators from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office learned of a scam on Friendship Church Rd. Taylorsville.  A black male who identified himself as Roger LEMONS, made an agreement with a home owner to pave his driveway with asphalt for $3,500.00.  Mr. LEMONS received a check in the amount of $3,500.00 from the homeowner for the work that was to be completed.  Mr. LEMONS spread approximately $300.00 of gravel on the drive but no asphalt was ever put down.  Photos of Mr. LEMONS were obtained from a local bank in Taylorsville where Mr. LEMONS and an unidentified white male cashed the check.  It was later learned from the bank that Mr. LEMONS full name is Roger Lee LEMONS Jr., 42 years old, DOB: 10/29/1972.  Mr. LEMONS has a Tennessee driver’s license and an ID card with an address in Charlotte, NC.  Mr. LEMONS was charged with (1) one count of Exploitation of the Elderly and (1) one count of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses.   Mr. LEMONS is entered nationwide as Wanted and this case is being investigated.
