Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are conducting an investigation into a Breaking & Entering and Larceny incident. The Alexander County Emergency Communications Center received a call regarding the Breaking & Entering at 1:29 PM on December 21, 2015 which was reported in the Lee Matheson Rd area of central Alexander County. Officers responded to the area and began processing the scene. During the investigation it was determined that the suspect vehicle was a newer model Hyundai Veloster. Unknown suspect(s) entered an outbuilding on the property and removed several items during the larceny. Some of the items stolen include a 5mm Remington rifle, welding machine, and fishing gear. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) in this case.
