Officers attempted a warrant service on Jesse Kyle Fox, who lives on Fox Valley Court (off Barrett Mountain RD), today but he ran into the wooded area behind a residence and disappeared. Numerous officers from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area around 1:00 pm and set up a perimeter while the agency K-9 “Mick” and his handler Sgt. Timothy Simms searched the area by foot. The search was called off around 2:30 pm when the trail went cold and officers determined that the suspect may have been picked up by a vehicle. Officers are now asking for help from the public ion locating this individual (pictured below).
